This large work, which actually cost several tens of thousands of yen to mount on a scroll, depicts a large waterfall running through the character for “person,” but as the title “Jyunro(Touring Waterfalls)” suggests, it is a story of petals traveling around a waterfall.
If you look closely, you can see cherry blossom petals, so it is not a Suiboku-ga but a Sai-boku-ga (color ink painting).
