Japan Parade in NY!!
To coincide with the JAPAN Parade in NY on May 13th, we will be exhibiting our works for one week from May 13th to 19th 🗽🇺🇸 This year, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Amami Association, we will hold a reception party “Amami Night” on May 12th 🙌 At the event, we plan to have Marine’s island song and a collaboration with Ayaka’s live painting, with many people related to Amami in attendance.
Although I only recently visited Amami for the first time 😅, I hope to deliver the beauty of Amami, the warmth of its people, and Japan’s traditions through our works to everyone in NY.
We are grateful for the opportunity to showcase our works to many people in the heart of Manhattan, where prestigious museums are lined up 🥹 With heartfelt gratitude to Hideyoshi Sakai, President of the Amami New York Association, and Ayaka Matsubara, second-generation Amami, for their invitation.
