The jinx of hanging scrolls
The more hobbies you have, the more difficult it is to store them.
When it comes to paintings and calligraphy, frames are easy to hang, but the more you add, the more bulky they become.
Therefore, when I have a favorite work of art, I reflexively mount it on a scroll, but there is a jinx that scrolls do not sell as well as frames.
I guess it is because there are fewer houses with tokonoma (alcove) for hanging scrolls rather than a jinx.
